Al Martino

Al Martino was a Philadelphia-born pop crooner, born Alfred Cini in 1927 to Italian immigrant parents. He built a career on lush orchestral ballads and charted hits from the early 1950s through the mid-1970s. He is also remembered for playing singer Johnny Fontane in the 1972 film The Godfather.
