Alejandro Palacio

Alejandro Palacio, nicknamed Alejo, is a Colombian singer-songwriter born on June 5, 1985, in Santa Marta. He works in vallenato, the accordion-driven folk genre from Colombia's Caribbean coast, and built his career as a vocalist with the long-running group Binomio de Oro de America before going solo. He is also an actor and television presenter, and starred as the lead in the Caracol TV biographical telenovela about vallenato legend Rafael Orozco.
