Barbie's Cradle

Barbie's Cradle was a Filipino alternative rock band that formed in 1998 around singer, guitarist, and songwriter Barbie Almalbis, who had previously fronted the band Hungry Young Poets. The group made guitar-driven rock with melodies centered on Almalbis's songwriting, and their later work leaned into lyrics reflecting her personal Christian faith. They released three albums before disbanding in 2005, when Almalbis went on to a solo career.
