Brenda Lee

Brenda Lee (born Brenda Mae Tarpley on December 11, 1944, in Atlanta, Georgia) is an American singer who built her career across rockabilly, pop, and country. She started performing as a child and recorded prolifically through the 1950s and 1960s, becoming one of the most successful singers to come out of Nashville. Her voice and range let her move between uptempo rockers and slow ballads with equal ease.
