Carlos Mario Zabaleta

Carlos Mario Zabaleta is a vallenato singer from Valledupar, Colombia, the heartland of the genre. He started performing at age 13 alongside accordionist Ivan Zuleta, and later moved to Bogota where he recorded with the group Los Pelaos before building a solo career. His music stays rooted in traditional Colombian vallenato while also reaching audiences through collaborations with other regional artists.
