Charlie Gracie

Charlie Gracie (1936-2022) was a rock and roll singer and guitarist from South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with Sicilian roots. He came up in the early rock and roll era of the 1950s, scoring his biggest hit with 'Butterfly' in 1957 alongside several other charted singles that year. He continued performing and recording for decades, building a devoted audience in Europe as well as in the United States.
