Chicago

Chicago is a rock band from Chicago, Illinois, formed in 1967, originally under the name The Big Thing before settling on Chicago in 1969. The group built its sound around an unusual lineup that combines a full rock rhythm section with a brass section of trumpet, trombone, and saxophone. Over the decades they moved from jazz-inflected rock toward a more polished, radio-friendly pop style, becoming one of the best-selling American bands of all time.
