Clem Snide

Clem Snide is an alt-country and indie rock band formed in Boston in 1991, built around singer and guitarist Eef Barzelay. The band takes its name from a character in William S. Burroughs novels, and over three decades has moved from noisier early sounds toward a more melancholic, Americana-influenced style. Barzelay's witty, introspective songwriting sits at the center of everything they do.
