DJ Shub

DJ Shub is the stage name of Dan General, a Mohawk DJ and producer from Six Nations of the Grand River in Ontario, Canada. He is widely credited as a pioneer of powwow step, a genre that fuses traditional powwow music with electronic and hip-hop production. He first gained wide attention as a member of A Tribe Called Red before launching a solo career built around that same blend of Indigenous heritage and contemporary club music.
