Ellery

Ellery Eskelin is an American tenor saxophonist born in 1959 and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, who has long been based in New York City. He grew up around music, with both parents working as professional musicians, and developed a deep grounding in jazz standards alongside more experimental instincts. His work spans post-bop and avant-garde jazz, and he leads and records with several small groups.
