Filter

Filter is an American rock band from Cleveland, Ohio, built around singer and guitarist Richard Patrick, who left Nine Inch Nails before starting the project in 1993. The band works in industrial rock, post-grunge, and alternative metal, and Patrick has remained the one constant member through a long series of lineup changes. Their sound leans on distorted guitars, electronic textures, and Patrick's melodic but often raw vocals.
