George Hamilton IV

George Hamilton IV grew up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and started out as a teen pop act in the mid-1950s before moving into country music in the early 1960s. His 1963 hit 'Abilene' became one of his signature songs, and he spent decades touring internationally, earning a reputation as the International Ambassador of Country Music.
