Gilbert O'Sullivan

Gilbert O'Sullivan (born Raymond Edward O'Sullivan in Waterford, Ireland, on 1 December 1946) is an Irish singer-songwriter who grew up in Swindon, England. He had his biggest commercial moment in the early 1970s, topping charts in both the UK and the US with piano-driven pop songs like "Alone Again (Naturally)", "Clair", and "Get Down". His style mixes percussive piano playing with observational, often wordplay-heavy lyrics, and he has continued writing and recording into the 2020s.
