Gloria Gaynor

Gloria Gaynor is a soul and disco singer from Newark, New Jersey, born in 1943. She built her reputation on powerful, emotive vocals, scoring a string of hits in the 1970s and early 1980s, most notably "I Will Survive" (1978), one of the best-selling singles in history. She has remained an active recording artist across several decades, and received a Kennedy Center Honor in 2025.
