Grupo Gale

Grupo Galé is a Colombian salsa band founded in 1989 in Medellín by percussionist and producer Diego Galé, who previously played with Grupo Niche and alongside artists like Hector Lavoe and Frankie Ruiz. The group makes up-tempo, danceable salsa with a distinctly Colombian flavor, and has built an audience both at home and in Europe. Their album Auténtico earned a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Salsa Album in 2008, and they record on the Codiscos label.
