Humble Pie

Humble Pie formed in Essex, England in 1969, built around former Small Faces frontman Steve Marriott and guitarist Peter Frampton. The band played hard rock and blues-soaked boogie, with Marriott's raw vocal style pushing them toward an increasingly heavy sound over the years. After Frampton departed in 1971, the group carried on through various lineup changes and revivals well into the 1980s.
