Ignacio López Tarso

Ignacio López Tarso (1925 to 2023) was a Mexican actor from Mexico City whose career spanned stage, film, and television across more than five decades. He was one of the last surviving stars of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema, with over fifty film credits including collaborations with directors like Luis Buñuel and Roberto Gavaldón. Beyond acting, he recorded spoken-word and musical material rooted in Mexican tradition, particularly corridos and revolutionary ballads.
