Jeff Beck

Jeff Beck (1944-2023) was a guitarist from Surrey, England, who spent most of his career making instrumental rock, jazz-fusion, and blues-influenced music. He first gained attention as a member of the Yardbirds in the mid-1960s, then led his own groups through decades of stylistic reinvention. He was widely regarded as one of the most technically inventive electric guitarists of his generation, with a particular focus on tone and technique over conventional song structures.
