Joe Veras

Joe Veras is a bachata singer from Cevicos, in the Cotui municipality of the Dominican Republic. He started out singing in church choirs and went on to build a career in bachata, finding his footing in the Dominican Republic in the early 1990s before reaching wider Latin audiences. His smooth vocal style and romantic songwriting have kept him a consistent presence in bachata over several decades.
