Kevin Florez

Kevin Florez (born Kevin Rafael Florez Rodriguez on August 19, 1991) is a singer-songwriter from Cartagena, Colombia. He works in champeta urbana, a genre he helped shape by mixing traditional Caribbean champeta with hip-hop, dancehall, and soca. Growing up in Cartagena, he spent his teenage years in hip-hop before fusing that background with the rhythms of his home city.
