Lindisfarne

Lindisfarne are a folk rock band from Newcastle upon Tyne, England, who formed in 1968. The original lineup built their sound around close harmonies, acoustic guitars, mandolin, and harmonica, drawing on British folk traditions while keeping a rock edge. They scored a string of popular albums in the early 1970s and remain one of the most celebrated acts to come out of northeast England.
