Mariachi Vargas De Tecalitlán

Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán was founded in 1897 by Don Gaspar Vargas in Tecalitlán, a city in the southern part of Jalisco, Mexico. The group plays traditional mariachi music, drawing on sones, huapangos, and other regional styles rooted in western Mexico. Over more than a century they built a reputation as one of the most influential and technically accomplished mariachi ensembles in the world.
