Artist
Nat King Cole
Nat King Cole was an American singer and jazz pianist born in Montgomery, Alabama in 1919. He started out leading the King Cole Trio in the late 1930s, building a reputation as one of the finest small-group jazz pianists of the swing era, before crossing over into pop vocal stardom in the 1950s. Over nearly three decades he recorded more than 100 chart hits for Capitol Records, and his warm baritone became one of the most recognized voices in American popular music.
