Artist
Nino Oliviero
Nino Oliviero (1918-1980) was a Neapolitan composer who built his early career writing popular Neapolitan songs before moving into film work from the 1960s onward. He collaborated closely with Riz Ortolani on Italian documentary soundtracks, most notably the score for the 1962 cult film Mondo Cane, which produced the Oscar-nominated song 'More'. His music drew on orchestral, jazz, and exotica styles common to Italian cinema of that era.
