Ornella Vanoni

Ornella Vanoni was an Italian singer and songwriter born in Milan on September 22, 1934, who passed away in November 2025 after a career of nearly seventy years. She worked across pop, chanson, and Brazilian-influenced music, drawing on her early years as a theatre actress before becoming one of Italy's most enduring recording artists. Over her career she released more than 120 albums and compilations and sold upwards of 65 million records.
