Pedro Infante

Pedro Infante was a singer and actor from Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico, who became one of the most celebrated figures of the golden age of Mexican cinema and music. He recorded over 350 songs across ranchera, bolero, and other regional Mexican styles, and his voice combined technical precision with a warmth that connected equally with folk and mainstream audiences. He died in a plane crash in 1957, but his recordings have kept him a towering presence in Latin music ever since.
