Porter Wagoner

Porter Wagoner (1927-2007) was a country singer from West Plains, Missouri who spent decades as one of the Grand Ole Opry's most recognizable figures. He charted 81 singles between 1954 and 1983 on RCA Records, and hosted a long-running television variety show that introduced Dolly Parton to a national audience. He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2002.
