Ray Anthony

Ray Anthony (born Raymond Antonini in 1922 in Bentleyville, Pennsylvania) is a swing-era trumpeter and big band leader who grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. He built his reputation playing with the Glenn Miller Orchestra in the 1940s before launching his own orchestra and becoming a fixture on the Hollywood scene in the 1950s. His band recorded several well-known television and film themes and he earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
