Richard Burton

Richard Burton was a Welsh actor born in Pontrhydyfen, Wales in 1925, celebrated for his resonant voice and commanding stage and screen presence. He built his career across theatre, film, and spoken word recordings, bringing a deep literary sensibility to everything he did. Outside of acting, he was a devoted reader and a passionate admirer of poetry, particularly the work of his fellow Welshman Dylan Thomas.
