Artist
Roy Drusky
Roy Drusky was a country singer and songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia, born in 1930, who built his career in Nashville through the 1960s and into the early 1970s. His smooth baritone fit squarely into the Nashville sound, and he was sometimes called the Perry Como of country music for his relaxed, polished delivery. He scored several Top Ten hits over the decade, including the number-one duet 'Yes, Mr. Peters' with Priscilla Mitchell, and was among the first artists to record a Kris Kristofferson song.
