Scott Engel

Scott Engel, better known as Scott Walker, was an American-born singer-songwriter who spent much of his career in the United Kingdom. He started out as a teen pop figure and a member of the Walker Brothers before moving into orchestral ballads and increasingly experimental solo work. His voice was a rich baritone, and his songwriting drew on dark, literary subjects that set him apart from most of his contemporaries.
