Sizzla

Sizzla, born Miguel Collins on April 17, 1976, grew up in August Town, Kingston, Jamaica. He is one of the most prolific figures in conscious dancehall and roots reggae, drawing heavily on Rastafarian spirituality and culture in his music. Alongside artists like Buju Banton and Capleton, he helped steer dancehall back toward its roots in the late 1990s and has continued releasing music at a remarkable pace.
