Spain

Spain is a band from Los Angeles, California, led by bassist and vocalist Josh Haden, son of jazz great Charlie Haden. Their music sits at the intersection of blues, jazz, indie pop, and slowcore, built on sparse arrangements and a deliberately unhurried pace. They have maintained a cult following since the mid-1990s, with their songs occasionally reaching beyond their audience, as when Johnny Cash covered their track 'Spiritual'.
