Switchblade Symphony

Switchblade Symphony was an American dark wave and gothic rock band from San Francisco, California, formed in 1989 by composer Susan Wallace and vocalist Tina Root. Their music layered orchestral arrangements and heavy synth sequences beneath ethereal vocals, pulling together classical influences and gothic rock into a distinct sound. They released their albums on Cleopatra Records and built a devoted following in the gothic underground throughout the 1990s.
