The Besnard Lakes

The Besnard Lakes are a Montreal-based indie rock band built around the core partnership of Jace Lasek and Olga Goreas, active since the early 2000s. Their sound pulls from psychedelic rock, shoegaze, and classic rock, layering dense guitars and lush harmonies into long, atmospheric songs. They have earned multiple Polaris Music Prize nominations and record at Lasek's own Breakglass Studios in Quebec.
