The Peddlers

The Peddlers were a British jazz and soul trio that formed in Manchester in 1964, built around organist Roy Phillips, bassist Tab Martin, and drummer Trevor Morais. They played a pop-inflected brand of soul-jazz that set them apart from most British acts of the era. The group recorded for Philips and then CBS through the late 1960s before returning to Philips in the early 1970s.
