Twister

Twister el Rey is a Colombian champeta singer from the Caribbean coast, where the genre has deep roots in working-class culture. His real name is Israel (some sources give other names, as fan sites vary), and he built his following through the cartagenero radio scene and the picó sound system network that helped spread champeta across the Colombian coast. Most of his songs lean toward romantic themes, and he has become one of the more recognized voices in the genre's more recent wave.
