Washed Out is the solo project of Ernest Greene, a singer, songwriter, and producer from Perry, Georgia. His music sits in the chillwave, dream pop, and synth-pop world, built around layered synths, hazy vocals, and slow-moving electronic textures. His 2009 song 'Feel It All Around' is widely credited with helping define the chillwave genre.
