Zacarías Ferreíra

Zacarías Ferreira is a Dominican singer born in 1968 in the Cibao region, near the town of Tamboril in the Dominican Republic. He has spent his career working in bachata, the guitar-driven romantic genre rooted in Dominican popular music, and is widely regarded as one of the most distinctive voices in that tradition. His nickname, 'La Voz de la Ternura' (The Voice of Tenderness), reflects the soft, melodic quality that runs through most of his recordings.
